Hello blogging world! This is my very first post on my brand new blog and I could not be more excited about it! My sister also recently started her own blog and I love hers so much that I decided to start my own. Fitting for my first post I thought I would share somethings about myself.
1. As you could have already guessed I grew up living on Cape Cod year round. I love everything about the Cape even the long boring winters.
2. I am a few short weeks away from my graduation and cannot wait to head down to Virginia for college.
3. I am obsessed with the beach. Something about the sound of the waves crashing on the sand and the greatness of the place hypnotizes me. I have been known to drive to the beach when I am upset because simply being by the ocean calms me down
4. I have one older sister who also has a blog (maybe you could figure out who it is). Our personalities sometimes clash, but I don't know what I would do with out her daily humor and advice.
5. My prized possession is a gold ring with rubies around a large pearl that my mom gave me for Christmas. It is an estate piece which makes it even more special to me thinking that someone could have owned this long before she bought it.
6. I am a very liberal Democrat I was very active in the Obama campaign even though I could not vote at the time. This causes some arguments in my family seeing as how every other member, except my eccentric grandmother, is a conservative Republican.
7. Lilly Pulitzer is my favorite brand to wear, anything from dresses, skirts, shoes, or accessories. And fitting with this obsession with Lilly I am proud to say that I own very little dark colored clothing. But I have a million spring and summer dresses that take over my closet.
8. Along with Lilly I have one other fashion inspired obsession. Blair Waldorf of Gossip Girl. Every Monday I tune into Gossip Girl awaiting Blair's fabulous outfits. My friends make fun of me every time we are watching for loving Blair but I still love her and am waiting for the day when she and Chuck will get back together.
Seeing as how 8 is my lucky number I think it would be best to stop there! I think thats all I have to say for today, I cant wait to get started on blogging.
